There are a few Johnny Luu's in the world so, to not confuse you as to which, I am The Johnny Luu.
'The' is actually my first name. It's on my passport...
I'm a British born Chinese guy who grew up in the Rhondda Valleys and Cardiff, Wales. I used to have a taffy accent so thick it could be used to bludgeon, now it's kinda neutral and only the keenest of ears can spot the enunciated Welshness of certain words and phrases.
As a young boy, I always fancied the idea of becoming a Marine Biologist. Unfortunately, many sea creatures scare the bejeezus out of me. Also, I'm not that smart so, instead, I pursued my creative interests.
After graduating from the University of Wales, Newport in 2006 with a BA (Hons) in Animation, I promptly moved to London to begin my freelancing career. I have been freelancing ever since. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have worked on a variety of different projects from online advertising banners and internal corporate films, to television commercials and broadcast children's entertainment programmes.
My most accomplished skills are in After Effects and its supporting suite of digital creative goodness; Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm reasonably proficient in other Creative Suite apps and online creative tools but not enough to blag about them here.

My general computing and word processing skills are excellent, I am a good team player, work well under pressure and display outstanding leadership skills and resourcefulness on practically a daily basis...at least I think that's what I expect my Nation Record of Achievement book will say if I can find it in my parents' attic.
